Sons of Alchemy: A Men's Group
Some of us are lost, misunderstood, ashamed, intimidated by women, or
trying to manage feelings of inadequacy. Some are angry, confused, afraid,
or living with deep, secret wounds. The Sons of Alchemy seek to work with
and through men's issues in a safe, supportive environment while
developing th skills necessary to re-unite ourselves with the "Inner King".
Resuming this Fall
Drums of Alchemy: Drumming Circle & Class
Open to everyone, regardless of experience level. Instruction will focus
on learning to layer and combine sounds and rhythms to create solid,
steady grooves. Stamina, feel, and concentration will serve you better
than technique and experience. Some drums and percussion
instruments will be provided, though participants are encouraged
to bring a favorite drum of their own.
Resuming this Fall
In the 1980's I was introduced to the
work of mythologist Michael Meade and poet Robert Bly.
Their insights into the male psyche and the
importance of giving our unique gifts to the world
became a turning point for me, and helped me find
the thread which connects my studies, passions,
and creative abilities to a life of meaningful public
service.
As a writer, teacher, speaker, musician, contractor,
healing arts practitioner, relationship coach, and advocate of
alternative medicine I've been fortunate to meet and work with people
from all walks of life, providing inspiration and quality work through the
alchemy of my life's experiences.
Drumming teaches rhythm and grounding; writing teaches articulate
communication of thoughts and ideas; carpentry teaches patience
and craftsmanship; healing teaches faith and compassion; coaching
teaches insight and inspiration . . .
Alchemy Bridge marks the culmination of a lifetime's worth of seeking
to know what I've come into the world to do. The services offered by
Alchemy Bridge are intended to provide you with the support,
guidance, and inspiration needed to discover your own unique capacity
for living an authentic life, the life you came into this world to live . . .
. . . the life your soul intended.
